Turn of the Century Classics Just a Stone’s Throw from Downtown

The Midtown neighborhood’s northwestern corner is where the Ypsilanti Water Tower stands, and Midtown stretches from there in a square ending at Downtown. Because it borders EMU on its north side, Midtown has a lot of student housing and multi-family properties with some single-family residential homes intermixed in between. A variety of architectural styles are present in this neighborhood, including Victorian, French, and 2-story colonial style homes. Midtown is dotted with some really well-preserved exterior features which lend to the flavor of the neighborhood, such as mansard roofs or the occasional belfry.

Midtown is also home to several EMU fraternity & sorority houses, making Midtown a favorite for college students, party-goers, musicians, creatives and young professionals. Because Midtown has multi-family & income properties, we’ll include them along with single family properties below.

A longtime favorite neighborhood of ours, we would love to help you find or sell a home in Midtown; call/text 734-272-6612 to speak to one of our real estate agents.
