How It Works

You receive 22% of the REALTOR commission back at closing — whether you're buying or selling.

Buying example: Purchase a $200,000 home with a 3% buy-side commission ($6,000). Your rebate: $1,320 back at closing.

Selling example: Sell a $200,000 home with a 3% sell-side commission ($6,000). Your rebate: $1,320 back at closing.

Customers who buy and sell multiple properties may be eligible for multiple rebates.

Eligibility

• Current students, staff, faculty, alumni, and contractors of any participating institution
• Minimum transaction value of $100,000
• Buy-side or list-side commission of 3% or greater
• Must exclusively hire and complete the transaction with Munro Real Estate

EMU LiveYpsi Homebuyer Program

EMU employees may also qualify for the LiveYpsi Homebuyer Program, which provides a forgivable loan of $5,000 or $10,000 to assist with purchasing a primary residence in the City of Ypsilanti or specific areas of Ypsilanti Township. This can be combined with our 22% commission rebate.

First Responder Program

Ypsilanti City law enforcement and fire department personnel are eligible for our Go Munro Hero Program — a 75% commission rebate on the buy-side. Contact us for details.
